Singapore, a young and independent nation that is progressing at a rapid pace. It has been 45 years since Singapore gained its independence and Singapore's port remains to be the busiest and most competitive port around the world.
At the Pre-University Seminar, PM Lee address to 500 junior colleges and polytechnic students about the 4 key challenges, the economy, create a strong education system, build cohesive society and improve the urban living environment.

By opening the two IRs, Resort World Sentosa and Marina Bay Sand, it had already attracted many tourists to come and visit Singapore which in turn generate revenue for Singapore.

Singapore is know for having a strong education system as there is many foreign students for example from China, Malaysia, Korea coming to Singapore and study here. MOE try to improve the local education system as well to make sure that they know what is best for the students.

We are known as a racial harmony country, people of all 4 different races, Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians live in harmony together and we celebrates racial harmony day every year.

Singapore also join the earth day campaign by turning lights, air-condition and television for one hour to save electricity and by saving electricity, it helps to conserve energy. Schools also taught students how to reuse, reduce and recycle. Now, there are more recycling bins in our neighborhood for us to throw our old newspapers and drinking cans or plastic bottles into the recycling bin.

The government certainly has put in a lot of effort to improve the 4 key challenges.
I AM PROUD TO BE A SINGAPOREAN ;)
